The square root of pie...1.7724538509055160272981674833411451828

I'm sure every parent has had one of these moments.

"Little Johnny, show your grandma how you recite the square root of pi."

Little Johnny looks at you like you're an idiot.

"Remember how you showed Mommy in the car?" Do it for your Grandma honey!"

Little Johnny starts to pick his nose while still looking at you as though you are speaking a different language.

"No really!  He did it in the car!  Just DO THE TRICK JOHNNY!!!!"

Grandma tires of waiting and walks away just as Little Johnny starts to recite numbers. 

"1.772453850905516027..."

You quickly call your mom back to prove that you were NOT lying to her about the fact that your child is a genius, just as Little Johnny finishes and goes back to picking his nose.

"Oh yeah honey, he's a smart one all right."

Grandma walks away and Johnny gives you a smile that says "SUCKER!"

Kids NEVER do what you want them to, WHEN you want them to. It's a known fact among all parents. But now with modern technology, it is possible to catch some of your children's "finer moments" on video to show whenever you so desire :)

I try and tell people that my kids are weird. I think people think I'm making up half the stuff they do. But that was all before Jonathan bought me my new phone with video!! Now I can catch the little creeps in action and have evidence of their weirdness.

This is Houston picking his nose...and wiping it on me. Where do kids get this junk from?! It's not like Jonathan and I walk around doing that to each other!  I think mostly it has to do with the fact that a) he is a boy, and b) boys like gross things. So yeah, now that Little Houston has the whole nose picking thing down pat, it's only a matter of time before he starts reciting the square root of pi. In the mean time I will continue collecting evidence that my kids are really weird. :/
